Happy Birthday Cooper!!!

Cooper turned six in December! He is
funny, smart and a one of a kind kid.
There is so much personality packed
into this boy. We love having him as
part of our family.

Cooper had a rocket bday party. A ton of his friends came up to a field 

to watch Todd launch REAL rockets, play games,

 open presents and eat cake! It was a fun day.

On Cooper's REAL bday the 22nd we went out to IHOP.

There is nothing like ice cream for breakfast.

We finished out the day with family presents at home.

Christmas Tree Chopping 2010

Every year since I was little my family has gone and cut down
a Christmas tree. It is a tradition that my kids love
almost as much as my mom! 

We roast hot dogs and marshmallows! YUM!

Thanksgiving 2010

We went to Page for Thanksgiving to see both set of grandparents. Aunts, Uncles and cousins too! 3 of my 4 brothers also came up- (we missed you Brett and family and Tim and family!) It was a great time with lots of great food, fun and games.

School Pictures Fall 2010

Megan brought home her darling school pictures so I am anxiously awaiting Cooper's kindergarden pictures the next day....... no comment needed, what can do but smile.

Halloween 2010

Trick-or Treat

Our neighborhood has a tradition of parking their cars all around the circle park across the street from our house and having a big trunk or treat. People dress up and decorate their trunks and hand out candy. It is really fun for the kids!

Our good friends the Rowleys join us at the park every year. We love to see Payton and Regan and of course their parents! Payton was Cooper's first friend. They met in the hospital and have remained friends ever since!

Jake and I went up and watched the Halloween parade at the elementary school. All the classes parade through the school in their costumes.We then went to the kids class parties.

Fall Break Oct. 2010

Red Cliffs Nature- Hike Take 2

    

 We decided to make another attempt at our previously unsuccessful hike. This time we had great weather, made it all the way to the end and did not have to be rescued by sheriffs!

At the end of the trail there is a waterfall that goes into a deep pool. Todd braved the cold water and jumped in! The kids loved  splashing in the shallow parts.

We had a quick visit with Todd's family during fall break. His Grandmother Joy and Aunt MaryLou came from Salt Lake for a visit. We went out to eat and the kids got to go swim at the hotel. Of course I did not have the camera! Nana came over from Page to join the fun and took the kids mini golfing too!

      Jake was so happy until the end when the last hole "took" his ball and would not give it back!

Cooper's 1st day of Kindergarden

Kindergarden started a week after the other grades.

yes it was a coincidence that everyone is in green, Jake is not even dressed yet

Coop heading out to tackle kindergarden. I can't believe he is grown up enough to be starting school.

Coop's traditional bobcat photo was not so great considering crazy mom thought he would be just fine without sunglasses. Silly me it was way too bright in the sun. Made for a long first day. We have had them everyday since and things have gone much smoother!
